A visit to the world’s only official Game of Thrones Studio Tour! The Tour is located at one of the actual filming locations at Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. Game of Thrones Studio Tour welcomes visitors into the Seven Kingdoms and beyond to explore the making of all eight seasons of HBO’s global hit series.

  • Step on to original sets, including the iconic Great Hall at Winterfell where Jon Snow was proclaimed the “King in the North,” and view genuine set pieces including Daenerys Targaryen’s imposing Dragonstone throne. See first-hand the intricate detail of the costumes, weapons and props imagined by award-winning designers and artisans and encounter interactive elements to relive some of the most memorable scenes from the show. Covering over 10,000 m2, this world-class attraction invites you to peek behind the scenes to discover all the elements that went into bringing the epic world of Game of Thrones to life.

Other locations

  • We also visit Castle Ward, the location for Winterfell. Dress in Game of Thrones costume and enjoy an archery experience at the Winterfell archery range.
  • Visit Cushunden Caves, which double as The Stormlands and Renly's Camp. 
  • Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, used in several scenes.
  • The Dark Hedges (the Kingsroad), an iconic tunnel of interlocking beach trees, through which Arya Stark escaped from Kings Landing.
  • Meet the Direwolves who were adopted by the Stark children in Season 1 and see the wilding pit.
  • The Iron Islands beach where Theon Greyjoy dedicated his faith to the 'Drowned God' and Dunluce Castle, the 17th century ruins that appeared as the exterior of the House of Greyjoy.
  • Enjoy horse riding on Dragonstone, where Melisandre burnt the effigies of the Seven Gods of Westeros.
  • Inch Abbey, where Catelyn and Robb Stark hear of Eddard's death and where Robb's bannermen declare him the 'King in the North'.
  • Tollymore Forest (the Haunted Forest), location for the Night’s Watch encounter with the White Walkers in the very first scene of the series and where the Starks find the Direwolf pups. 
  • Glenariff, a plunging valley surrounded by stunning waterfalls and walking trails, which features as the practice ground at Runestone.
  • Mourne Mountains, used as the entrance to Vaes Dothrak, city of the Dothraki, plus the lands north of Winterfell where Bran first meets Jojen and Meera.
