I was very fortunate to be on their 70th and 75th D-Day celebration tours. The service and attention to details was exceptional. It was very moving to go back.
The 2026 Airborne trip promises all you would expect from a Normandy commemorative tour, plus much more!
We visit 'Le Mesnil’ crossroads and take part in a special Remembrance Service. On to the Memorial Pegasus Museum and famous Pegasus Bridge. Breville, the Merville Battery, Chateau St Come and another poignant Remembrance Service. We stop at Ranville for a special ceremony with the Mayor at the 13th Parachute Battalion Memorial, followed by Mass at Ranville Church and a commemorative service in the CWGC Airborne Cemetery. We drive along SWORD, GOLD and JUNO beaches and pause to pay our respects at the impressive British Normandy Memorial.
Experience real Norman culture with a variety of enjoyable and immersive activities, including a visit to an estate and apple orchard which has been producing cider and calvados for nearly 200 years, where we sample what the soldiers enjoyed back in 1944! Another cultural highlight is a hands-on perfumery workshop; the Normandy region is renowned for its perfumeries and fragrance companies and this promises a real insight into the industry and scent developing process. The tour culminates with a fun visit to a local pottery and a demonstration by the potter on the wheel.
