I was very fortunate to be on their 70th and 75th D-Day celebration tours. The service and attention to details was exceptional. It was very moving to go back.

This building is also where Ian Fleming, whilst working for Britain’s Naval Intelligence service, was inspire to write James Bond and the building featured in Skyfall. Enjoy a history tour of the hotel, followed by afternoon tea. Evening at leisure. Overnight.
Morning visit to Churchill War Rooms, the underground bunker where Churchill and his cabinet ran operations during the Blitz, and a visit to the Imperial War Museums. Lunch. Afternoon visit Kent, affectionately known as ‘the garden of England’. Visit Chartwell, Churchill’s beloved home in the Kent countryside. The rooms remain much as they were in his time and showcase many of his personal mementoes, furniture and writings. Return to London for evening at leisure and overnight.

Continue to Bletchley Park, home of the codebreakers in WW2. Find out about the different types of machines and codes that were used and the impact Bletchley Park had on WW2. Return to London.
Transfer to Oxfordshire to visit the impressive Blenheim Palace, Churchill’s birthplace and family ancestral home. See the room where he was born, the gardens where he proposed to Clementine. Lunch, followed by a visit to his burial place in Bladon churchyard. Return to London for overnight.
